The app includes a full messaging system available to all users. Communicate with direct messages and group chats. Messages is available in the app, on mobile devices and desktop computers.

Messages List

Your list of direct messages and group chats are displayed here.

 

• Tap the link to Mark All as Read. This will dismiss new message notifications.
• Tap the pencil icon to create a new direct message or group chat.

  • Group Chats for a group (if the group has it enabled)

Create New Chat

Tap the pencil icon to create a new chat.

 

• Use the search field to find someone.
• Tap the plus button next to their name to add them to your chat.
• You can also browse Suggested Connections for people you may want to message.
• Tap Start Chat to begin. Other users will be notified when you send the first message.

Create Group Chat

If you add more than one person to a new chat you are creating a group chat.

 

• Group chats require a name. 
• You can upload a photo for the group chat. Tap the camera icon to upload. This is optional.
• Tap Start Chat to begin. Other users will be notified when you send the first message.
• After creating your group chat, all participants can add and remove other members of the chat.

Send Message

Once your new chat has been created (a direct message or group chat) add text to the Message field and tap Send. Members of the chat will see a message notification for each new message.

 

You can also send photos or documents in a message. Tap the plus icon to see those options.

 

 

Tap the camera icon to upload a photo. Tap the file icon to upload a document. Then tap Send.
