Create Volunteer Post

You must be group admin to perform this task.

  1. Go to the group where the job posting will be published.
  2. Tap the green plus button located on the group header section. Choose Create Volunteer Post.
  3. On the Volunteer Overview screen, add the required information - Title of Position, Employer Name, Employer Website, Volunteer Location, Short Description, Location Requirement. You could include optional information - Image Thumbnail, Industry.
  4. Tap Next Step.
  5. On the Credentialing & Job Requirements screen, select what is appropriate for this role.
  6. Tap Next Step.
  7. On the Goals & Settings screen, indicate how many positions are available.
  8. Tap Create.

 

The volunteer post will be published in the Volunteer channel in the Channels collection. If this is the first volunteer post in this group, the Volunteer channel will be automatically created.
