Crowdsourcing Solutions

The crowdsourcing solutions engine, also referred to as an action tank, is unique to this app. It offers the ability for group members to share their best ideas and insights about how to solve a defined problem. Once responses are posted, everyone can vote on the submitted answers. The crowdsourcing solution can be achieved with a collection or one channel depending on the goals.

The admin can publish initial ideas and suggestions to begin the process of crowdsourcing. The illustration below shows that the content prompt is linked with the vote gallery post type. After tapping the Post button, the new idea will be added to the list of solutions.

Work with your leadership team in following up and taking action on the top voted solutions. Be sure to inform group members about what ideas will be carried forward by sending additional announcements.

All-Member Group Chat

If this group setting is enabled, this communication mechanism allows admins to direct message everyone about something that may not fit in one of the channels or threaded discussions. All members of the group can interact in the all-member group chat. For instance, the all-member group chat can be used to give encouragement, celebrate accomplishments, share praise reports, and exchange prayer requests.

Topic-Specific Chats

You can also use the Messages feature to have discussions with different members. You might use this feature to discuss topics or ideas privately that do not apply to everyone in the group. This is a powerful way to reach others.

Encourage group members to download the app and enable the push notification setting. With push notifications, messages generated in group chats will alert them immediately.
