For a group, the default channels for the Dashboard collection are called Members Dashboard and Public Dashboard. The Members Dashboard channel contains the content that appears on the group page just below the header for members. If there are app users that visit the group page but are not members, they will see the Public Dashboard channel.

  The Public Dashboard channel can be used to explain what your group is about. You can add instructions about how new members can join.
