List of Ticket Sales and Registrations for a Paid Event
print icon

This article is intended for the host of an event group. As a host, you will be handling registrations and want to have an attendee list. The current implementation of event group allows you to look up information in a few app sections which can be cross referenced:

  • Manage Orders
  • Attendees List
  • Hosts List

You will learn how to look up registrations for a paid event. You will be able to tell which registrants already have an app profile and which ones do not.

There could be a situation where the purchaser bought tickets on behalf of another person.

Prerequisite

  • The event has tickets for sale.
  • You must be a host of the event group in order to perform the steps described below.
  • It is ideal to use a web browser to perform these tasks.

Manage Orders

1. Go to the event group.

2. On the header section, tap the 3-dots menu and choose Manage Orders.

This screen gives the ticket transaction details, including the name of the purchaser and quantity of tickets paid. From this information, you will have an initial list of registrants.

Attendees and Hosts

Perform the following to get a downloaded file of all the attendees and hosts for your event and to be able to cross-reference with the attendees list.

1. Go to the event group.

2. On the header section, tap the Attendees button. You will be taken to the Attendees screen.

3. Tap the link "Generate CSV of Members". The platform will indicate "Generating CSV...".

4. Again, tap the link "Generate CSV of Members". The csv-formatted file will be downloaded to your laptop or device.

This report does not identify which person is an attendee or host. You can then go back to the Manage Orders screen to cross reference the purchaser names.

5. On the Attendees screen, tap the Attendees tab.

6. Scroll down the profile names and use this listing to identify which records on the csv-formatted report are attendees.

The Attendees tab gives a number. For example, "4 Attendees" as shown below. This number indicates how many of the people on the Attendees list have an app profile. This number is not the total number of attendees.

Who has an app profile? If the person on the Attendees screen has a short bio and/or a photo of themselves, then this person has an app profile.   A user with an app profile

If the profile image looks like the image below and there is no short bio below the name, then this person does not have an app profile.

An attendee without an app profile

7. On the Attendees screen, tap the Hosts tab.

8. Scroll down the profile names and use this listing to identify which records on the csv-formatted report are hosts.

Sometimes someone who paid for a ticket as shown in Manage Orders is not on the Attendees screen. This would happen if the attendee was allowed to be a host of the event. You should see this person on the Hosts tab.

9. To close the Attendees screen, tap the X icon on the upper right.
