The organization can monitor and manage who becomes members of a group by turning on the Approval Required setting. If enabled, users will not be automatically accepted into the group. A group admin must approve the request to join.

Request to Join Group

Users will signup like normal using the group code or group link. The action button will say Register instead of Join Group, and then a pop-up message will appear.

Once the request is approved, the user will get a notification saying the request to join the group was approved.

How to Approve a Join Request

A group admin can approve new members from the notification or the Group Members screen.

From Notification

All of the group admins will receive the notification message regarding the registration request.  Only one of the admins will need to approve.

1. Tap the Notification icon.
2. Tap the ACCEPT button. The button will change to ACCEPTED. An approval notification message will be sent to the new member.

From Members List

1. From the group page header, tap Members. The Group Members screen will display.
2. If there are requests to review, those will appear on the Requests to Join tab.
   
3. To approve a new member, tap the plus icon next to the requestor's name. Then, tap the OK button on the confirmation pop-up. The new member will be added to the Members tab on the Group Members list. An approval notification message will be sent to the new member.
4. To deny the request, tap the minus icon next to the requestor's name. Then, tap the OK button on the confirmation pop-up.

  Tap the profile image to see the requestor's profile and/or send a direct message.
